AMANDA OOMS
(Maria Theresa Paradies)

Born in Sweden to a Dutch artist father and a Swedish mother, Amanda began her career selling tickets at the State Theatre in Stockholm and quickly made herself indispensable in a number of departments, so much so that the theatre's director cast her in her first movie, Mozart Brothers, as soon as she finished her drama training at the school.

Amanda fine-tuned her acting skills in a number of smaller foreign-language films, often in the lead role.  English-language film and television work soon followed, most notably Buster's  Bedroom and "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles."

In addition to her acting talents, Amanda is also an accomplished writer and has published two popular novels.
